TATTOO REMOVAL
We are pleased to offer tattoo removal in the shop! This is especially exciting to those who want to cover old or unwanted tattoos with something fresh but need treatment because the existing work is too dark to simply cover up and still look good.
The Tatt2away® Tattoo Removal System works using a similar technique to how a tattoo is applied:
The patented solution is applied to the skin in the same method as ink would but done so over the unwanted tattoo in a pattern designed to reduce scarring and the number of treatments necessary to remove a tattoo. The body’s natural healing response forms a scab, and upon falling off in approx 2-3 weeks actually removes the ink from the body with it.
Tatt2Away® treatments are designed to remove the tattoo in a series of visits for maximum results. The number of treatments depends on the size complexity, and location of the design. An average size tattoo (4 inches by 4 inches), may need four or five visits but is realistically determined during the initial consultation or appointment. Discomfort from the procedure is comparable to that of a tattoo and the treatment sessions last 30 minutes to 1 hour. Sessions can be done about six-eight weeks apart.
